This year I have been celebrating teacher’s day at a secondary school. But for me the best ever teacher’s day celebration was during my school time at SMK Agama Sik especially when I was form five. The teachers and the students were very sporting, participating in the event and activities. Teachers were happy and students had the opportunity to see different side of our teachers’ attitude. They were having fun just like us. They were playing just like us and happily participating in the program conducted by us with happy heart and without thinking of anything else except for having fun.
At that day, we know our teachers are not that scary as they look. They are also human being have the feeling to be happy like others. They are being fierce and strict because they want to shape us to be a good person and useful individual to the country and religion. For them the teacher’s day is the only day that they might having some rest from their workload, they will be having a lot of fun with their students.
Back then the celebration of the teacher’s day was very fun, teacher forget all of the bother that they were having with us and play with a lot of fun. I was enjoying that moment so much and I hope one day I can celebrate a teacher’s day like that and it will be happy memories every year during the teacher’s day. But during this teacher’s day, I don’t think that the teachers here are having fun just like my teacher at the old school. Maybe there’s something that had hold them back from having that much fun.
For me teachers need to appreciate themselves during the celebration of teacher’s day because it can be a source of motivation to upgrade their spirit to teach. Students should also show their gratitude and appreciation to their teachers so that their teacher will be having more fun in teaching. It is not to say that the teacher need the gratitude and appreciation but know that someone has appreciate them will make them happier and have more motivation and aspiration.
Teacher is someone who does not need anything to make sure they do their work. I think they are the sincerest person in the world if I am comparing all of the teacher with my previous teachers especially during my secondary school. They will do anything for us to make sure the students success in the study. It is not that time to spill out the story but for me my teachers is the best teacher’s ever. I’ll pray for their best where ever they are now. May Allah always bless their life.
